The Streetsblog calendar has a full slate of Select Bus Service and bus lane plans this week. There are also some important bike projects up for consideration by Brooklyn community boards. And now that it’s spring, it’s the season for silly City Council bills that open the door for more cyclist harassment by police.

Here are the highlights — check the calendar for the full listing of events:

• Tuesday: DOT and the MTA will present the plan to extend bus lanes on 125th Street to West Harlem to the Manhattan Community Board 10 transportation committee. Also on the agenda: Bradhurst Plaza and pedestrian safety measures for 155th Street. 6:30 p.m.
• Also Tuesday: An important bicycle link between Brooklyn and Queens — bike lanes on Greenpoint Avenue and the J.J. Byrne Memorial Bridge — goes before Brooklyn Community Board 1. 6:30 p.m.
• More Tuesday: The Brooklyn CB 3 transportation committee will discuss a DOT proposal “for expanding bike routes along Throop/Tompkins/Kingston/Brooklyn Avenues via Fulton Street.” 7 p.m.
• Wednesday: The City Council transportation committee will discuss several pieces of legislation, including a bill to reduce the size of the city-owned car fleet and Mark Treyger’s proposed ban on using a cellphone while riding a bike. 9:45 a.m.
• Also Wednesday: DOT and the MTA will provide updates on the Utica Avenue Select Bus Service project at Brooklyn Community Board 17 and Community Board 18. The separate meetings both begin at 7 p.m.
• Thursday: DOT and the MTA host the first of four public workshops about the Select Bus Service and street safety improvements planned for Woodhaven and Cross Bay Boulevards. 6 p.m.
• Also Thursday: Speak up for a safer and more vibrant Meeker Avenue in North Brooklyn with the Transportation Alternatives Brooklyn activist committee at the launch of its Make Meeker Move initiative. 6:30 p.m.
