Last week we reported on NYC DOT’s set of pedestrian and bike improvements for Brooklyn’s Old Fulton Street, the gateway to the northern end of Brooklyn Bridge Park. This week, DOT will present a second piece in the plan for improved access to the new park — improvements to the western end of Atlantic Avenue where it meets Pier 6. In a holiday-shortened week, that’s the only major event on the Streetsblog calendar.
