East Side community boards will get a look at plans for Select Bus Service this week, while two events will bring cyclists together for food and fellowship.

• Monday and Tuesday: DOT and MTA will present the proposal for bus rapid transit on First and Second Avenues to Manhattan CB 6 and Manhattan CB 11, respectively. Presentations will follow in the coming weeks to CBs 3 and 8. 7 p.m. tonight. 6:30 p.m. tomorrow.
• Thursday: Looking to combine your love for cycling with your love of eating? Whole Foods on Houston St. hosts a presentation of "Pedaling: NYC," billed as "a food and wine cycling adventure series." 6:30 p.m.
• Sunday: Ride in solidarity with Miami cyclists who are mourning the loss of Christophe Le Canne, killed last month when he was struck from behind while riding in a bike lane. 2 p.m.
