Tonight: Meet the Godfather of Schluffing/Dorklocross

Robert Sullivan, best-selling author and bike etiquette lightning rod, will read from his newly published The Thoreau You Don’t Know tonight at Book Court in Cobble Hill. The book re-examines the common perception of Thoreau as a "misanthropic crank in the woods" — turns out the guy liked cities. I’m pretty sure it doesn’t get into the whole schluffing-vs-dorklocross debate, but if you want to chat up the author about that stuff, this is a great opportunity.

The reading starts at 7:00 p.m. at 163 Court Street, between Dean and Pacific.
