New York Post Organizing MTA Rescue Bus Trip to Albany

This just in:

Next Monday, the New York Post is planning a rally and chartering a bus to Albany so straphangers can bring their concerns to the steps of the State House.

A coach bus will depart from the New York Post office at 1211 Sixth Avenue, near West 47th Street, in Manhattan at 8 a.m. on Monday, March 30. This bus will be paid for by the paper, as a service to its readers.

Riders have flooded their message boards and inboxes with letters protesting Albany’s inaction. The bus will return back to New York City Monday evening.

You can respond by e-mailing rally[at]nypost[dot]com or calling 212-930-8652 if you have any questions.

We’ve followed up with the Post for details. They have room for 50 people. Interested parties should RSVP by 5:00 today.
