Update: The Queens CB 4 meeting and Brooklyn CB 1 meeting scheduled for Tuesday have been rescheduled because of the impending snowstorm. Keep an eye on the Streetsblog calendar for new dates.

  • Tuesday: Brooklyn Community Board 1 is expected to vote on the DOT plan to improve access to the Brooklyn entrance of the Williamsburg Bridge bike path and upgrade connections from the bridge to East Williamsburg, Bushwick, and Queens. Swinging 60s Senior Center, 211 Ainslie Street, Brooklyn. 6 p.m.
  • Tuesday: Queens CB 4 will vote on the DOT plan for a safer 111th Street. VFW Post 150, 51-11 108th Street, Corona. 7 p.m.
  • Wednesday: Join Transportation Alternatives in asking City Council members to sign a letter demanding Mayor de Blasio apply the Vision Zero Street Design Standard to all future street construction. City Council offices, 250 Broadway. 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. It’s OK if you can only make it for part of the afternoon. RSVP here.
  • Wednesday: The Manhattan CB 4 transportation committee will discuss the new Port Authority Bus Terminal. 6:30 p.m.
  • Thursday: DOT will present two projects to the Brooklyn CB 2 transportation committee: a reconfiguration of the already-approved Streets Seats parklet and bike corral at the northeast corner of Rockwell Place and Fulton Street, and a post-implementation report on the Lafayette Avenue bike lane and traffic-calming project.
