Tonight: Get the Low-down on NYC Bike Law From Vaccaro and White

Streetsblog readers can start the weekend off with tonight’s talk at REI SoHo by attorneys Adam White and Steve Vaccaro, who’ve provided legal perspective for many a Streetsblog story over the years:

What every cyclist needs to know about being in a crash, with the two leading practitioners of bike law in New York. Adam has been representing New York cyclists for more than fifteen years. Steve, a long time cyclist and pedestrian advocate and litigator, who has sued the NYPD for their failure to properly investigate crashes, brings unique personal insights as a recent crash victim. Learn about the traffic laws, what to do in a crash, how to make sure your insurance pays for the medical care you need for a full recovery, and more! Light refreshments served.

The event gets started at 6:00 p.m. at the 303 Lafayette, by the corner of Houston Street.
