Cyclist Struck at Seventh Avenue and 28th Street

The driver of a motor vehicle hit and injured a cyclist at the corner of Seventh Avenue and 28th Street in Manhattan at 1:56 this afternoon, according to the NYPD. The cyclist was taken to Bellevue Hospital. The police didn’t have any additional information about the crash at this time.

Two mothers whose children were killed by reckless drivers have begun a hunger strike that they'll continue until Assembly Speaker Carl Heastie (D-Bronx) brings to the floor a long-stalled bill that would allow New York City to set its own speed limits.
