This Week: EDC’s Pinsky Talks Transportation at NYU

Sure to be the highlight of the week — on Wednesday, NYCEDC chief Seth Pinsky, proponent of suburban-style retail projects, will discuss the connections between New York’s transportation network and the strength of the city’s economy.

Tuesday:

This month’s Washington Heights & Inwood Livable Streets meeting will focus on the much-anticipated Dyckman Greenway Connector. 7 p.m.

Wednesday:

EDC’s Pinsky will sit down for a breakfast conversation with NYU’s Mitchell Moss on the nexus of transportation infrastructure and economic development. 8 a.m.

Also Wednesday: Hear a lunch presentation on AARP’s complete streets initiative. To be webcast for those who can’t make it in person. Noon.

Thursday:

NYU’s Rudin Center hosts a discussion about transportation and the underserved and under-represented. 6 p.m.
