Planners Network NYC Disorientation and Fall Social
Do you believe that urban planning should be a tool for eliminating inequalities and injustice, rather than maintaining the status quo? If so, come to the second annual Planners Network NYC Disorientation and Fall Social, to meet other progressive planners, activists, students, and professors!
This event will have mixing, discussion corners, and fun & games. Learn more about local, national, and international planning issues, make new contacts, and get involved with Planners Network or other local organizations.
At 8 o’clock, there will be short presentations by special guests
- Youth Ministries for Peace and Justice: Community development and participatory planning in the Bronx
- The Young Planners Network: High school students using planning to change communities
- Reportback from the US Social Forum in Atlanta
