Rally for Smart Growth in Brooklyn

Sunday, July 16, 2 pm
GRAND ARMY PLAZA
Rally Starts at 2 pm
Gather at 1:30 pm

On Sunday, July 16th, at 2 p.m., please join thousands of your friends and
neighbors at Brooklyn’s Grand Army Plaza to rally in favor of appropriate,
inclusive, and innovative development with truly affordable housing and
sustainable jobs, and against Forest City Ratner’s "Atlantic Yards" scheme.
Stand up and speak out against government support of eminent domain abuse at
taxpayer expense!
This is our last chance before New York State issues the draft
Environmental Impact Statement for the "Atlantic Yards" to demonstrate to
elected officials, state authorities and Forest City Ratner that our community
has grave concerns about what would be the largest single-sourced private
development in Brooklyn’s history.
Please help make this rally a success. Spread the word to your friends and
neighbors.
Celebrate the strength and unity of our communities with performances
