DOT’s overhaul of Queens Boulevard in Woodside, which includes 1.3 miles of protected bike lanes, is up for a vote at Queens Community Board 2 twice this week. Also: Opponents have gathered petitions agains Upper Manhattan’s first protected bike lane — you can defend it at Community Board 12 tonight.

• Monday: Vornado Realty Trust will present some short-term changes to improve the pedestrian experience near Penn Plaza at a meeting of the Manhattan Community Board 5 transportation committee. 6 p.m.
• Also Monday: DOT will present the Astoria Neighborhood Slow Zone to the notoriously change-averse Queens Community Board 1 transportation committee. 6:30 p.m.
• More Monday: The paint is barely dry on the protected bike lane on Fort George Hill, but the Manhattan Community Board 12 transportation committee is already considering reversing its support and asking for it to be removed. 7 p.m.
• Tuesday: DOT will present its plan to cast the Sunset Park section of the Fourth Avenue road diet in concrete to the Brooklyn Community Board 7 transportation committee. 6:30 p.m.
• Tuesday: The Queens Community Board 2 transportation committee is expected to vote on DOT’s plan to improve safety and add protected bike lanes to Queens Boulevard. 6:30 p.m.
• Wednesday: Citi Bike is coming to the Upper East Side, and some people are so upset about it they’ve convinced the Manhattan Community Board 8 transportation committee to host another bike-share meeting. 6:30 p.m.
• Thursday: The full Queens Community 2 could vote on the Queens Boulevard redesign. 7 p.m.
