Lots of community board action this week. DOT will be unveiling transit improvements for Port Richmond in Staten Island and safety fixes in Greenpoint, while one community board will get a chance to hear from the NYPD about traffic enforcement and another will take a final vote over the proposed Bay Ridge Parkway bike markings.

• Tonight: Brooklyn CB 10 votes on a proposal to paint sharrows along Bay Ridge Parkway, a compromise approved by the board’s transportation committee after the full board and local pols, led by Dom Recchia, torpedoed a proper bike lane. 7:15 p.m.
• Also Tonight: The Queens Civic Congress hosts a forum on transportation. Guests will include City Council transportation committee chair Jimmy Vacca, Queens DOT Commissioner Maura McCarthy, and NYC Transit bus director Brian Brennan. 7:30 p.m.
• Tuesday: DOT will present a set of transit access improvements for the Port Richmond neighborhood on Staten Island’s North Shore and allow the public to offer feedback. 6:30 p.m.
• Also Tuesday: The transportation committee of Brooklyn CB 1 will discuss DOT’s proposed Safe Streets for Seniors safety improvements on Greenpoint’s dangerous McGuinness Boulevard and Nassau Avenue. 6:30 p.m.
• More on Tuesday: Council Member Leroy Comrie hosts an open house with DOT for residents to discuss preliminary recommendations for bus improvements in downtown Jamaica. 7:00 p.m.
• Wednesday: NYPD officials will attend Manhattan CB 4’s transportation committee meeting to discuss pedestrian safety and traffic enforcement efforts. 6:30 p.m.
