TMBG’s Flansburgh: I Drive, and I Support Congestion Pricing
In other rock star news, Williamsburg resident John Flansburgh — one half of the esoteric duo They Might Be Giants — issued an unprompted endorsement of congestion pricing on Daily Intel earlier this week:
When’s the last time you drove a car?
Today. Because I am constantly moving equipment, I drive my car or use
a car service almost every day — and I am still in favor of the
congestion pricing.
Apparently it’s a one-car household. Flansburgh describes his wife, writer and performer Robin Goldwasser, as a "classic New Yorker" who "won’t drive."
