The agency's months of silence on the dangers children face walking to and from school continued on Thursday, with the department actually kicking a Streetsblog reporter out of a media event after the reporter tried to ask the schools chancellor a question — a move that one parent said was "deplorable."

If done correctly, congestion pricing can make New York City more livable, and fund public transportation. If done incorrectly, it risks being a regressive form of taxation with limited benefits.
