A bad year has gotten worse: A Queens pedestrian was run over and killed earlier this week by a hit-and-run driver in the deadly Brownsville section of Brooklyn, the NYPD said on Friday.
Michael Collopy, 60, was hit by a cyclist on July 31 as he stood in the protected bike lane at Sixth Avenue and 23rd Street. The cyclist kept on pedaling. Collopy died on Wednesday of his injuries.
