More and more advocacy groups are questioning an MTA deal that would construct a new LIRR rail platform near Belmont Park to serve a new arena for the New York Islanders. The latest is Reinvent Albany.

This state rendering does not show the shuttle buses that these Islander fans will have to board to get to their arena, which will sit at another LIRR station on the other side of Belmont Park.
