Parks Commissioner Sue Donoghue said that her agency is still trying to figure out how to allow the increasingly popular mobility option in her emerald empire.
The Adams Administration should force Koeppel Mazda to retreat from a street that should be fully pedestrianized for the benefit of the community, not a few cars, said Council Member Shekar Krishnan.
"I am very much aware of the inconsistencies and the concerns around pedal-assist bikes in parks," she said, promising only to have a task force look into the matter, which has placed the Parks Department arguably on the wrong side of state law.
